19-inch Self-service Registration Terminal

The YQX 19-inch Self-service Registration is the compact end of our self-service range. It exists because not every registration point has the floor space or the throughput to justify a 43-inch lobby kiosk — a clinic reception desk, a pharmacy counter or a laboratory window often needs a small terminal that does one job quickly.

The case for a smaller terminal

Interaction time drives screen size more than anything else. A check-in task is: identify the patient, confirm the appointment, print a slip. That is a short flow, and on a 19-inch screen it fits without scrolling. The result is a terminal that takes up less counter space, draws less attention in a clinical setting, and costs less to deploy per position.

Where this model is the right choice:

• Clinics and health centres — appointment check-in at reception without adding a desk.
• Pharmacy and laboratory counters — collection confirmation, queue number issue, document hand-off.
• Controlled-area registration — staff and visitor sign-in with card or badge reading.
• Overflow positions — extra registration capacity added during peak periods without a lobby-scale installation.

Fanless and quiet

The standard configuration is fanless. In a clinical environment that matters twice over: there is no fan noise at a reception desk, and there is no intake pulling dust into the enclosure. Where a project needs active cooling because of the peripheral set, that is confirmed during configuration.

Integration

The terminal runs your software. We configure the operating system image, the driver set, the autostart behaviour and the interface assignments around the application you intend to run, and we work with your software vendor where hardware validation is required.

Common integration points are the hospital or clinic information system for patient lookup and appointment confirmation, the identity service for card or badge reading, and the printer for the confirmation slip.

Counter mounting

Three mounting arrangements are available from the same platform: a weighted base for a freestanding counter-top unit, a clamped or bolted counter mount, and a short floor pedestal. The choice affects the cable exit direction and the service access, so it is settled before production rather than on site.

Ordering

A single evaluation unit can be ordered on this model before a production commitment, with a 7–14 day sample lead time. Mass production is 20–35 days depending on configuration and quantity.
