43-inch Self-service Registration Kiosk

The YQX 43-inch Self-service Kiosk is the large-format member of our self-service family. It is specified for the registration point where the interaction is long enough that screen real estate matters: multi-step forms, document scanning, identity capture and receipt printing in a single session.

When the 43-inch format is the right choice

A 19-inch or 21.5-inch terminal handles short interactions efficiently — confirming an appointment, printing a number, checking a balance. Registration is different. The user reads a form, scans an identity document, checks the captured data, confirms, and waits for a printout. On a small screen that becomes a sequence of scroll steps; on 43 inches the form, the scanned document preview and the confirmation can share the display.

Practical selection rule used by most of our buyers:

• 19–21.5 inch — short interactions, single-purpose terminals, limited floor space.
• 32–43 inch — multi-step forms, document capture, side-by-side content, higher throughput.
• 49–55 inch — information display, wayfinding and terminals where the screen is also read from a distance.

Throughput and duty cycle

A lobby registration kiosk runs all day with the printer and scanner in constant use. The platform is built with an industrial-grade power supply, filtered active cooling or a fanless configuration, and a service access panel that lets staff change the printer roll and clear a document jam without moving the unit or calling an engineer.

Integration with registration and hospital systems

The kiosk is the front-end device; the workflow lives in your software. We configure the operating system, drivers, autostart behaviour and interface assignments to match your application, and we work directly with your software vendor or integrator where validation on real hardware is required.

Typical integration points:

• HIS / registration platform — patient lookup, appointment confirmation, demographic capture.
• Identity and document services — ID card or passport scanning, OCR hand-off to your application.
• Payment — card or QR payment module integrated into the enclosure, using the payment provider’s certified device where the scheme requires it.
• Printing — receipt, queue ticket or A4 form, depending on the process.

Customisation

As with every platform we build, dimensions, structure, colour, branding, peripheral set, interface layout and packaging are configurable. Buyers running their own brand typically take the standard platform and change the housing colour, the logo and the front-panel cut-outs — which keeps tooling cost and lead time low while still producing a unit that is unmistakably their own.

Ordering

A single evaluation unit can be ordered on this model before a production commitment, with a 7–14 day sample lead time. Mass production is 20–35 days depending on configuration and quantity.
