Product overview

The YQX 55-inch Integrated Self-service Kiosk is a large-format all-in-one terminal: display, touch overlay and computing platform in one enclosure. It is specified where the screen has to work at two distances at once — read from across a waiting area as an information display, and touched by a user standing in front of it.

Why all-in-one instead of a screen plus a PC

A display with a separate media player means an extra box, an extra power point, an extra failure point and somewhere to hide the cables. Integrating the computing module removes all four. For a hospital corridor or a service hall where the terminal is installed in a public sightline, the enclosure also looks deliberate rather than assembled.

The trade-off is serviceability: an integrated unit is serviced as a unit. We address this with front or rear lockable access, and with a configuration option where the computing module is a removable tray.

Where this format earns its place

  • Wayfinding — department maps and route guidance that need to be legible before the user is close enough to touch.
  • Queue and triage display — current number, department status and estimated wait, visible across a waiting area.
  • Information terminals — service catalogues, opening hours, process explanations and public notices.
  • Dual-purpose terminals — information display in idle mode, interactive self-service when touched.

Touch, brightness and mounting options

Three configuration decisions usually settle the build:

  1. Touch or non-touch. If the screen is only ever read, a non-touch variant is simpler and cheaper to run. If it is touched, the PCAP overlay is standard.
  2. Brightness. Standard indoor brightness is fine in most corridors and halls. Glazed lobbies and atriums with direct daylight need a high-brightness panel and an anti-glare treatment.
  3. Mounting. Freestanding pedestal, floor stand or wall mount — the mounting pattern and the service access direction both change accordingly.

Integration

Where the terminal is purely a display, integration is limited to the content source: a CMS, a queue-management server or a player application. Where it is interactive, it behaves like any other terminal in our range — we configure the operating system, drivers and autostart behaviour to run your application, and work with your software vendor where hardware validation is required.

Ordering

This model can be ordered as a single evaluation unit, with a 7–14 day sample lead time. Mass production runs at 20–35 days depending on configuration and quantity. For projects that need a specific panel, brightness class or mounting arrangement, send the requirement and we will confirm what can be built.

Specifications on this page describe the configurable platform. Final values are confirmed against the drawing and panel datasheet issued with your quotation.

FAQ

Ordering this model

What is your minimum order quantity?
A single unit can be accepted on selected models for evaluation or sample purchase. Volume pricing applies from 10 units. For OEM and ODM projects the minimum depends on the tooling and configuration involved.
Can I order a sample before placing a production order?
Yes. Selected models can be ordered as a single evaluation unit, with a sample lead time of 7–14 days. Sample units are production units, not a simplified demonstrator.
What are your production and delivery lead times?
Samples ship in 7–14 days. Mass production runs at 20–35 days depending on configuration and quantity. Shipping time is additional and depends on the destination and the transport mode.
Do you support OEM and ODM projects?
Yes. OEM means we build to your design; ODM means we adapt an existing platform to your requirement. Dimensions, structure, colour, logo, configuration, hardware, software integration, interface layout and packaging are all within scope.
How do you control quality during production?
Each unit passes four inspection gates — incoming inspection, in-process inspection, complete-machine functional testing and final inspection. Records are kept against the unit and available to the buyer.
What warranty and after-sales support do you provide?
A 3-year warranty with remote technical diagnosis and repair guidance. Where remote support cannot resolve a fault, the unit is returned to the factory for repair. Spare parts are supplied for the warranty period and beyond.
